Camden County College has a rich collection of resources
for students, faculty, and staff to use, but occasionally,
items are needed that are not in the collection.
Before using Interlibrary loan, you should . . .
Check the CamCat online catalog (Choose “All Libraries”) to see whether we have the item(s) you need for your research.
We accept requests for CDs, DVDs, and videos, but due to the policies of many of our lenders, these may not be obtainable.
Loan Period
The lending library assigns the due date for the item.
The loan period is usually 21 days, but the date may vary.
If you need the item for a longer time, please contact the ILL staff before the due date.
Be sure to read the section on Renewal Requests below for more information on renewals.
Renewal Requests
All renewal requests must be made before the due date; the lending library will not accept the request after that time.
Some libraries will not allow renewals of interlibrary loan materials, while others are willing to grant renewals.
The lending library will set the new due date.
Please note: Any books, videos, etc. that you have borrowed are subject to recall by the lending library at any time, even before the due date. If you are contacted, please return items promptly.
If you need a renewal, please contact ILL staff by email at libraryloan@camdencc.edu or by phone at (856) 874-6001/6002.
Returning Items
All interlibrary loan items can be returned to either the Blackwood Campus Library or the Rohrer E-Library in Cherry Hill.
Items cannot be returned to the Camden County Public Library System or the Cherry Hill Public Library System.
Lost Items
The borrower (and not the library) will be fully responsible for any replacement costs for lost items.
Likewise, any charges for damage to materials will be passed on to the borrower.
Canceling a Request
If you need to cancel a request, please contact the ILL staff by email at libraryloan@camdencc.edu or by phone at
(856) 874-6001/6002.
